Faces of Fashion: The Icons Who’ve Inspired My Journey
From runways in Dubai to private previews and backstage moments at exclusive launches, I’ve met some of the most inspiring minds in fashion each with their own story, signature, and spark.
Designers Who’ve Left an Impression on me
Gianvito Rossi : His shoes are poetry in motion , sculptural, feminine, and timeless. Meeting him gave me a new appreciation for subtlety and craftsmanship.
Sir Paul Smith : A legend who needs no introduction. His mix of British tailoring and playful detail always reminds me to keep a sense of humor in style.
Michelle Lame : Fiercely creative and refreshingly bold. Her work embraces power dressing in a way that celebrates women unapologetically.
Christian Louboutin :That iconic red sole will forever symbolize empowerment and elegance. Meeting him was like witnessing fashion royalty in real time.
Reem Acra : A true visionary. Her gowns carry a kind of modern fairy-tale magic, I’ll never forget how gracious and grounded she was in person.
Philipp Plein : Bold, edgy, and fearlessly maximalist. His energy is contagious, and his shows are experiences, not just fashion moments.
Michael Cinco : One of Dubai’s rising stars. Her pieces celebrate individuality and Middle Eastern modernity. I’m always excited to see her new collections.
Walid Atallah :A Lebanese designer whose haute couture creations are pure drama and elegance. His bridal and evening wear shows have always left me breathless, and his humility makes him unforgettable.
Roberto Coin :Master of Italian luxury jewelry. I had the honor of seeing his exquisite pieces up close each design rich in symbolism, timeless elegance, and unmistakable craftsmanship.
Alice Temperley :The queen of ethereal glamour. Her designs are romantic yet rebellious, feminine with a rock-and-roll twist. Meeting her and exploring her world of flowing silks, intricate embroidery, and unapologetic femininity was nothing short of magical.
Outside the designer world, I've also had the chance to meet people like Dr. Andrew Ordon of The Doctors, whose warmth and wisdom left a lasting impression.
And there have been so many others fellow creatives like Sazan & Aimee Song, models, stylists, beauty experts, all part of the colorful tapestry that makes fashion more than just clothing. It’s connection.
