A Bold Take on Pantone 2020

Sometimes, the most unforgettable looks come from contrast, and that’s exactly what I leaned into with this outfit. Wearing a rich shade of Pantone's 2020 Colour of the Year, Classic Blue, I clashed it unapologetically with a bold fire red skirt to create a look that’s both editorial and effortless.
  • Shirt + Bag: Zayan the Label

  • Skirt: Sandro Paris

  • Boots: ZARA

This classic blue blouse from Zayan the Label adds a polished, serene tone — a color known to inspire confidence and calm. But instead of playing it safe, I paired it with a fiery red skirt from Sandro Paris. The result? A statement-making clash that works, precisely because it’s unexpected.

My ZARA boots ground the look with a sleek edge, and the matching bag pulls everything together while keeping the palette tight and intentional.

The Zara shoes are eye-catching indeed! And they match the colour of the top so perfectly! I think the colour combination is good, but there is something about the design of the skirt that irks me. I think this colour combination is catching on fast. I saw a wedding lehenga on https://www.joyceswear.com in the same combo. It was simply stunning!
