presents the spring ’17 collection. Roll up, roll up, this year’s resort
collection takes inspiration from retro circus posters.
This season I’m
Isola takes fashionistas of the UAE on a whirlwind colourful experience with an
array of distinctive deconstructed prints, colour blocks, irregular silhouettes
and smart layering. A magical combination of woven textiles and woollen fabrics
mixed with soft chiffons and delicate silks offer the true, unique style of the
I’m Isola personality. The colour palette is fresh, soft and elegantly subtle
combined with bold perfectly contrasting colourways, developed from the authentic
circus posters of bygone eras. Exploring a colour palette of burgundy, pinks,
navies, whites and yellows a colourful, charming combination which presents the
theme and inspiration perfectly.
Accessories are
not forgotten, with fabric clutch bags, patterned and textured headwear and
striking belts adorned with stars.
Throughout this collection,
the circus world is the source of all inspiration and characteristics. Circus
of the past is full of wonder and enchantment, acrobats, tamers, jugglers and
freaks. Descriptive prints are combined with bold shapes such as stars, stripes
and delicate vintage motifs. The colourful and whimsical nature of this
collection is combined with I’m Isola’s romantic nature through contemporary
dresses, fluid lines, natural movement and classic embroidery.
