Fashion Myths

1.       Pink for girls & Blue for boys; Curious me…. I had to put it to the test and guess what I wore Blue and stayed a woman!  I promise you men out there if you wear pink it will not affect your muscularity unless it was affected way before thatJ Remember Pink and blue are just colors that has nothing to do with gender….it’s about time to end this myth, don’t you agree!

2.       Bright colors shouldn’t be worn by older people: Daaaaaaaaaaaa!!! You choose your colors based on your skin tone and what suits you, not what age you are, otherwise clothes would’ve come with age appropriate tagsJ God made earth with all colors, and the more color you add to your life the happier you will be….they even use color for therapy!

3.       I can’t afford to be stylish; well I think you can’t afford Not to. Being stylish doesn’t mean you have to break the bank, with high street fashion and high end fashion seasonal sale that could reach upto to 70%.. you have no excuse, just know your body and what suits it.

4.       I don’t have time…..I’m so busy!! So am I, but it takes the same time to put on a good or bad combination, when rushing avoid layering, just  put a one piece dress.

5.       I ‘m fat so I need to wear oversized clothes to hide it: Remember the bigger the silhouette the bigger you will look, Know your body and dress for it, after all they created “ size chart” for a reason.

6.       Getting stuck with one style or one brand; If you want to leave an impact you have to go to extremes, keeping the same look forever is so boring!

7.       Put on a designer logoed bag and you are automatically on the fashion lane……NEVER elegance starts from your under garments, and goes all the way, it’s the complete look.

8.       Make up overdose; Never overdo your makeup, it was made to enhance your natural beauty not cover it....unless you work as clown!

9.       Designer branded clothes is the answer to all problems: It’s never the brand you were, it’s more how you pull it off!

10.   CROCS: with all respect but as cute as they look on kids, when worn by adults, it’s a FASHION CRIME!
